Are You Blacklisted???

Headed down to St James for the Johnnie Walker Blacklist party last Friday. Was there to work, straight after work at the office. Talk about tired. I was seriously running low on energy, so much so that I had to make a pit stop at Coffee Bean for an espresso take-away:

I never drink coffee at night. But that night I had to. Didn't wanna overdo it, so that was just a single shot. Changed up in the washroom after that. I loveee my JW uniform, how many times have I said it?! ^_^:

Photobucket

Because of all that weight I lost, the same size turned out really loose on me, especially the tights. But the outfit still rocked. They separated us into a few groups, and I volunteered to do the guestlist together with Evangeline and Quemantha:

Giving out tags and checking off names:

The good thing about being stationed at the entrance = you get to expect who is coming. Yes, I'm just that much of a busybody. Just kiddin'. I don't like unpleasant surprises, more like. Saw a couple of gay fags, a few familiar faces, and someone special. =) It was the night before the Halloween celebrations, and some people came with their costumes already. I think the most boring Halloween costume EVER, has got to be the BUNNY-GIRL OUTFIT:

Person A: What are you gonna be for Halloween?
Person B: Oh, I'm gonna be a bunny!!!
Person A: OMG! That's so EXCI- Wha-? I'm sorry, I fell asleep.

That, and maybe a schoolgirl, or a nurse etc. Zzzz. Is there no originality anymore???? I think Halloween is really just an excuse for some of the girls to whore it up, though. Either they dress too little, or they dress too cute. Or so they think. I want to puke. Enough of the Halloween talk. I wanted to go party as Black Swan, complete with red contact lenses and winged makeup and all, because I fell in love with the movie after watching it. BUT as usual, I got lazy. And I checked out eBay; the nicest feather tutu skirt cost a grand 75 pounds or something. Forget it. Maybe next year... But by then Black Swan would be kinda outdated already. AHAHAHA.

The white limo fetching the contest winners:

It started to rain halfway through though, and the guestlist got moved next to the entrance, under the shelter. It was super smelly there, with all the cigarette smoke killing me. So I escaped into the Tiger lobby and sat with Evangeline and Daphne, who was there to take care of things. Ordered food!:

With Evangeline:

We just sat and waited for the rain to stop, and by the time it did, it was almost time to go home. I was secretly glad I didn't have to stand that long, because by the time I was home, I was awake for almost 22 hours. I don't mind a little events on the side outside of my full-time job though. In fact, I welcome it because then my finances wouldn't be so tight. So, not really complainin'!

More to come!!!! ♥

Champagne showers

Did a champagne job with Wanzhuo recently at Butter Factory. We got paid to do nothing because nobody ordered anything. LOL! =X Not our faults, we weren't there to promote but just to serve. Camwhore pictures in the artist room:

We both have bangs but she looks younger than me because she IS young. She's like fresh out of secondary school. =.=

The dress was an ASOS toga mesh dress they provided for us. I actually kinda like it! But because my BlackBerry is so atrocious in taking pictures, all I got were these:

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Seriously? Where is my face in the second pic?! (T_T) All the more reason to be excited for my iPhone 4S.

Hunted the dress down from the ASOS website:

Nice, right?! Petite collection, OMG! I can actually fit! HAHA. Was wearing a Size 8 by the way. I think a Size 6 would be even more perfect. ♥ Yes, 老娘 recently lost weight. 6kg, to be exact. Everywhere I go now, people ask. So my answer is YESSSSSSSS. I lost weight, which means I kinda lost my boobs too. HA. Then again, I've repeatedly stated that I don't care for attention like this because it's real uncomfortable to have people staring at your chest. As long as there is enough to push-up should the need arise (eg. a sexy dress), then I am contented. Previously when I was 53kg, people suspected I did a boob job. First of all, I have no money for that. Second of all, I already said I don't like that kind of attention. And last but not least, if I really did a boob job, how can they shrink with my weight loss? This is the last time:

PhotobucketPhotobucket

And now, I have nothing much to speak of. And I'm actually okay with that. =D Heehee. OKAY, enough of all this boob talk!!!!!!!! -_-

With bangs, or without bangs?:

I like how the light captured my new hair colour in the picture without the bangs. Did it recently at Essensuals Bugis. Finally a brown that is more red. ^_^ Have a product from them to review soon, so stay tuned!

Night. x

Wear a skirt

I thought GIRLS were supposed to be the bitchy ones. Why don't you wear a skirt and parade around then, dude? I never really used to believe in karma, but now I fervently wait for it to bite you in the ass.

No racism against you. Oh, no no. Even though it's plain as day that you talk the talk but walk a different walk.
Fucker.

And my peepers are brown

I know I'm a real noob in coloured contacts. But recently I saw a deal coupon off Outlet.sg for Freshkon Mosaic lenses, so for the fun of it, I purchased them in brown. Wanted grey initially, but I didn't want to risk looking like a freak for fear of not looking good in that colour. They were half-price off anyway; perfect for me to pay cheaper for a first-time trial. Well, actually I'm not really a first-timer. The very first time I bought coloured contacts was online, through Xuesha. They made my eyes BURNNNNNNN like a motherfucker. It was the worst feeling, ever. I'm beginning to think if they were China goods. =S I think they're still lying around somewhere. Ought to dump them!!!

I know they've sort of banned online contact lenses sales now because of all the fakes going around, but the ones I got this time were licensed. Got my eyesight tested at the optician too. Both eyes are (only?) 150 degrees with 50 degrees of astigmatism on the left eye. So why do I still feel so blind all the time???? (T_T) I didn't really research the kind of designs they had as well etc, because I didn't have much choice in the first place, right? And secondly, there's just too many types (Mosaic, colour-fusion, bright eyes etc)... I can't really be bothered eh.

Because my eyes burnt so badly last time, I didn't take any photos since I was in a big hurry to remove them. Now it's a different story, baybeh. Tadaaa:

PhotobucketPhotobucket

I would like to think I don't look Chinese at all in them, muahahaha. But don't expect me to be wearing them all the time though, since I absolutely hate the blurred vision I get from dry eyes and the fact that I don't even wear normal contacts everyday for the same reason. Well, I'd try. My colleague said I already have "brown-enough eyes" considering the fact that I am Asian, so. *shrugs*

And my hair! It's braided by Essensuals Bugis! =) Here's the back:

Photobucket

I would love to do it on my own, but I totally suck at coordinating my hands from the back. Thank God for Essensuals Bugis, to make my hair smooth and shiny, AND pretty too! I opted for a French braid because it's simple enough without looking flamboyant (I still had errands to run after that), and I didn't want the braid that starts at the nape of your neck because I didn't wanna risk looking like a 中国妹. .............. Seriously, urgh.

Call 6333 0039 for an appointment with Essensuals Bugis and ask for someone to style your hair any way you want it; I'm sure you'd be ultra-satisfied at what they can do for you. =)

Essensuals Bugis is located at 241-A Victoria Street, Bugis Village (right above Burger King). ♥

*P.S: I WON the dream dress contest organised by ClubCouture with the most votes!! =)

Holly won too. They're manufacturing 2 dresses. Here's hers!:

I can't wait to see how the physical product will turn out. And to actually be able to wear a dress and say, "I designed it." Haha. YAY. A will be so proud too, I'd bet. =) Thank you ALL for voting! xoxoxoxoxx

Swinging in the heart of Orchard Road

Dinner with MFY at Ajisen (yes, Ajisen again!). What can I say? I'm a sucker for ramen!:

Well, that scallop ramen set meal cost me $14.90. And I had no idea I wasn't feeling that unwell, because 15 minutes after our dinner, I was complaining about feeling nauseous and proceeded to throw up in the washroom. My $14.90 ramen meal, down the toilet just like that. -.- And to add on to that, 20 minutes later I had to go back to the washroom for diarrhoea. OMG, it was like a sudden case of food-poisoning. To think that I was even considering tomyam soup base before. :O I insisted on staying in town though, because Melissa and I had arranged to meet up for awhile but never managed to make it concrete.

Sat inside Takashimaya for a rest, since most of the shops were closing. So? We took pictures:

PhotobucketPhotobucket

PhotobucketPhotobucket

This is how Melissa reminds herself to do things - by scribbling on the inside of her wrist:

It's almost equivalent to tying a red string on your index finger. So old-school!! Haha.

I don't know why they had these garden swings along Orchard Road. (And if I remember correctly, I saw them outside Raffles Place MRT station as well.) A little Google search told me it's some NParks - Let's Make Singapore Our Garden campaign. It's not everyday you get to sit on a garden swing in the middle of Orchard Road, right? And that is why Mel and I decided to do it. But we didn't expect to wait that long just for the 2 Malay girls before us to get their butts off the swings for our turn. I timed them; we waited 40 minutes. -_- 40 minutes to swing our worries away in the heart of Orchard Road?:

(*P.S: Nude maxi-dress from Love & Bravery, ring from Forever 21, sandals from Charles & Keith.)

The elderly Malay couple behind me were waiting for their turn too, and when we left, they said, "Finally! We also waiting!" =.= We didn't even swing that longggg. =/

Bought Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion and gold eyeshadow from Sephora as well, on Friday:

The eyeshadow primer really works. It's awesome. My eyeshadow stayed for the WHOLE DAY, even after a nap. Wanted the gold-based one to make my gold eyeshadow even more intense, but I thought the original made more sense because then I can use it with any/all colours. =)

I'm not one to spend on makeup other than the necessities, but I guess the eyeshadow primer will go under the "Necessities" list now! Short of having somebody confiscate my cards, I guess I gotta remind myself to work hard, save hard! Still have so many things on my mental wishlist: room revamp, new red wallet (my current wallet has fallen apart completely), the iPhone 4S, etc. =/

Work can be a drag sometimes, and life can seem pointless MANY a time... No wonder they call it a rat race.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Win yourself a dream dress!

The ClubCouture ambassadors have come up with their dream dresses and they need your votes! All you have to do is "LIKE" your favourite dress on Facebook, and one lucky voter per dress walks away with the dream dress they voted for! The top 2 winning designs will have their dress manufactured for sale by ClubCouture. =D

Of course, being an ambassador myself, I contributed my dream dress too! Here is mine! ;D:

A and I brainstormed for it together, and because he was the better one at drawing, he drew the visuals out for me while I gave him ideas on it. Actually the whole point of drawing it on paper was to submit a visual for the store, as opposed to just describing it with words. I wanted it to be spot-on. The above is not the original drawing (as in, not A's original handiwork), but it's still my dress all the same. =) So, heartfelt thanks, love. ♥

Here are my reasons WHY I designed my dream dress the way it is:

- I love retro. The swing skirts and bare-backs and bold colours. Wanted to add polka-dots at first but decided against it 'cos simplicity is still the best.
- Cloth-covered buttons give a vintage feel.
- The ties at the back of the halter-neck are specifically long and thick (as opposed to thin because it just makes me think of a trashy KTV call-girl) so you get a big, red ribbon over your exposed back.
- The back is exposed all the way to the waist so the front is sweet and demure, but the back sexy. And you get a little coverage with the big ribbon, yet still showing some skin!
- I picked red because most girls love to be fair, and red contrasts with fair skin to make you stand out. =)
- Remember the swing skirt! Retro!

I know it's not exactly Project Runway material, but I've never had a dress designed for myself ever before. It's exciting! If I win and my dress gets manufactured, I think A will be very proud as well. =)

Hopefully after sharing a little of my design inspiration, you can cast an honest vote for me! Click HERE to be redirected to the photo of my dress design on Facebook to cast your vote for me!

Thank you very, very much! xoxoxx

Quick post - Dropped by Frolick with Ee Xuan after dinner at Subway last week! We shared an original yogurt with cookie crisps:

I think it's only my second time at Frolick. =/ The first time I had it, it was some flavoured yogurt with marshmallows. Original is still da best. Will head back soon~

xoxo

*P.S: Amelia and Ee Xuan!!! When are we going to KTV again?! People want more videos..... HAHAHA. ♥♥

*P.PS: I will stop blogging about my relationship from here on out. Pictures are limited to my private Facebook account only. I've had enough of people trying to be funny. You know who you are, dude. And the rest also. 请不要钻牛角尖. Nobody cares. Get out of my life, jinxes.
