Attended Qing's ROM party on Saturday! Received her invitation through snail mail. =) That girl hand-made her own invites! Hardworking much?!:
The party/solemnization was held at Mount Faber's Jewel Box. The lift door opened to reveal a very pretty reception, complete with well-wishes pegged on to strings!!! Also the bride's idea!! Creative! (Picture credits to Jesslyn!):
Okay, I didn't snap any pictures of the solemnization 'cos I was way at the back I could hardly hear anything, much less see!! But here's one I snagged off Qing's FB. LOL:
CONGRATS, QING AND KELVIN!!! =D Wishes of a beautiful life together for the both of you. ♥
I know people will ask, so yes, Fann Wong was also there. She posted one picture on her Weibo blog:
And this one I stole off tagged photos from someone else, HAHAHAHA WHOOPS:
She was very private, though, just like always. And very pretty too, as you can see!! Just like always!!! LOL. I didn't stay long either. Took a couple of pictures with Qing but I will only receive it a little later 'cos it's in her photographer's camera. Sitting down with boyfriend for the buffet dinner:
You cannot imagine how happy I was when I found out the bar served red wine. HAHAHAHA!!! But I was a good girl! I only had ONE glass!
Running in and out of the cable car displays while waiting for our on-call cab home:
Cax Contrast Day Dress in Cobalt Blue is from Ohvola. With the boyfriend, overlooking the gorgeous view of Mount Faber:
My nude envelope clutch is from DIY Galore! It's the same one in this post, just in a different colour. And here's the giveaway I've been talking about!!!:

Some time last year, I was walking along in town when someone passed me a flyer on a new restaurant opening. It turned out to be Hot Tomato Cafe & Grill, and I even kept the flyer in my bag, telling myself I'd try it sometime because it looked good. I never got around to it, until now. Boyfriend brought me over the weekend to 313 Somerset, and we had that for our late lunch. ^_^ Sitting in the bright orange booth!:
I had their lobster pasta and mushroom soup. I've had better mushroom soup elsewhere, but their pasta was nice. Forgot to take a picture of it 'cos I was too hungry (haha), but here's one off their website!:
Pictures with the boyfriend - a must!:
Walked around town the entire day after that, window-shopping and just spending quality time together. Stayed in the malls majority of the time though, because the sun was simply too scorching hot. Outside Kinokuniya, in my summery pink crocheted dress by ClubCouture!:
Be sure to check out ClubCouture's just-released collection HERE!
Black envelope clutch is from DIY Galore. ^_^ I'm doing a give-away real soon, specially sponsored by them! If you wanna win THIS nude envelope clutch worth $15, stay tuned for details! ♥♥♥ It's already sold out on the website, so if you want to get your hands on it you gotta keep your eye right here. ;)
Did my nails at Milly's on Friday as well. First time doing gel overlay. I picked silver because I wanted to test out a neutral colour before going all bright and colourful, haha. End-result was good - all shiny and glittery! ♥:
Milly's is located at Far East Plaza II #03-129 and Bugis Village #3, 4 & 5. Call 8383 5395 to make an appointment. =)
Ended the day with a steamboat dinner at Bugis Street. I cannot remember when was the last time I felt this contented. In the past, I did freelance work so when there were no jobs, I'd usually be at home and not doing much. Whenever I didn't happen to spend the day with boyfriend, he'd call and ask me how my day was. And each time, I didn't have much to tell him so I would sum it up and say, "Nothing much." But now, it's been a week into my new job and suddenly, I'm constantly doing something and I have so much to tell him now. We don't spend as much time together as we did before because of work, and maybe that's why I enjoyed myself so much on Saturday because it was quality time well-spent. I know it's going to be a rarity from now on, so I need to treasure it even more. I think someone ought to smack me for being so emotional, because I wanted to cry when I looked at him sitting opposite me at dinner, BBQ-ing prawns for me and peeling them before putting them on my plate. I feel so loved, and it's hard to put it into words sometimes. You get what I mean. I told him about how I felt, even though I knew I might come across as sounding real silly (he IS my boyfriend after all), and his reply was gentle and oh-so-sweet, "You're my girlfriend leh... Of course I peel for you lah, then I peel for who?" :') I love my boyfriend so much!!!!
Second week marks my official training at work. They've scheduled me in for 3 days' worth of training with 7 other people, from Wednesday to Friday. I'm worried and stressed about what's to come, and I'm not looking forward to it at all. =.= Just need to remind myself that it won't last forever. So far so good, because at least I have really nice colleagues who lunch with me every single day. They don't judge me for the work I used to do, something I was so worried about before. Money is still tight, so in that sense, I hope and pray it'd turn around soon. I'm also having problems with Cookie at the farm, and I'm trying to juggle all of these at once. I have this feeling at the back of my mind that something bad is going to happen, but I cannot place my finger on just what it is. I know money is not the solution to all of life's problems, but it sure helps a huge deal at least. Still getting used to waking up at 6 every morning, especially so when I'm not a morning person. AT ALL. Need to change that soon, so I can get my ass out of the house and send money rolling in. I don't like to be addicted to things, but coffee has become a staple every morning. I can sort of feel my insides dying with all of the coffee that I drink, so I really gotta cut back on that. I get so cranky at the end of the day, surviving on insufficient rest and racing against time to make sure I get enough shut-eye for another long day's work the following morning. What a mess, huh? =( Trying very hard to stay positive that every little thing will work out soon.
I foresee less blogging from now because I'm sooo tired at the end of everyday, but I'd try to blog at least once a week. Gotta go write notes for my work now. I will be back~~~
My last event of the year! Or possibly, my last event, period. I don't know... If time allows I suppose I'd pick up an event or 2, but for now work is first priority. I'd previously agreed to this Philips lighting event before I found a job, and during my interview I did bring it up but got hired anyway, so I suppose they must be okay with it. =) Took a day off to work with Ee Xuan, Lynn and Stella, ushering guests and getting them to fill up survey forms. Our toga dress is specially tailor-made, with LED lights along the collar and sleeves! I love it a lot!:
If you're wondering, they made a circuit and hid the battery pack in a small pocket sewn into the side. =D So cool right!!!
With Ee Xuan and Stella!:
Us and Lynn:
Walking around the awesome lighting exhibition:
Gusto's catered the buffet, and one time we all sneaked to the back and stole food off the trays even before the servers had time to bring them out to serve. LOL. The cod fish is fantastic!!!! So much so that I actually did a take-away of the left-overs. HAHAHAHA. Yumyum. Took the bus back to the interchange with Ee Xuan and Stella after work!:
We cracked big-boob jokes all the way through. Ee Xuan is hilarious. Don't judge a book by its cover!! HAHAHA. I had a lot of fun, and it's always this way isn't it? Things suddenly go unexpectedly well and you find it hard to say goodbye. I'd miss the picture-taking/camwhoring with friends (that IS our job, after all), the pretty clothes/costumes they fit me into, the many different people I meet at each different event and how nobody would even blink when you sneak off to grab a bite from the buffet spread. It's all so free and easy, and you don't have to be on your best behaviour because it's all about having fun. Things are definitely different now, but I ought not to compare, huh.
Look around at your friends or take the public transport and look at the people around you. Majority of them would own a mobile phone that's "dressed up" in one way or another. Surely we can have fashion for our mobile phones too? ;) And surely, WhOpPi can bring you that particular something to jazz up your mobile phone. =D Whether you're looking for something sleek, something cute or something shiny and bling, WhOpPi brings them to you at a good deal! Samantha let me pick and I chose a Cath Kidston iPhone casing for myself! ^_^:
I currently own a Blackberry but I chose an iPhone casing, not because they don't have Blackberry casings (they do!! A lot!), but because I'm changing my Blackberry to an iPhone in October and I've been eyeing this Cath Kidston one for very long. HEHE. I love Cath Kidston designs; even my desktop wallpaper is Cath Kidston right now. Samantha was so nice because she threw in a Lacoste iPhone casing for my boyfriend too! I didn't even ask! So sweet right! This is like "for him" and "for her"! LOL!:
AND an Angry Birds mobile phone accessory as well?!:
My loot altogether!:
Me is a happy girl. Heehee. Thank you, Samantha! There's way, way more stuff on WhOpPi's website, so hop on over right now and pick something for yourself or your boyfriend/girlfriend/sister/brother/friend! WhOpPi doesn't just have iPhone and Blackberry casings; you'd find flip cases for your iPod Touch, as well as pretty mobile phone accessories, lanyards, stickers and charms. =D
Browse WhOpPi online, or head on down to their flea market stall on the following dates and venues! Mark your calendar for....:

The trailer alone, sent chills down my spine. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS!!!! :D Harry Potter on 14th July!!! Walking through the train station each time and seeing the entire wall plastered with the movie poster makes me so excited! So happy, LOL! I'm geek like that! This has gotta be my favourite movie of all time. I don't think I'd even order popcorn because I'd be so hypnotised by the movie to even move or look away for a second. I'm gonna catch it with my boyfriend - special movie with special someone, right? Hehehe. Are you catching it too? ;) See you all at the movies! :D
