Swinging in the heart of Orchard Road
Dinner with MFY at Ajisen (yes, Ajisen again!). What can I say? I'm a sucker for ramen!:
Well, that scallop ramen set meal cost me $14.90. And I had no idea I wasn't feeling that unwell, because 15 minutes after our dinner, I was complaining about feeling nauseous and proceeded to throw up in the washroom. My $14.90 ramen meal, down the toilet just like that. -.- And to add on to that, 20 minutes later I had to go back to the washroom for diarrhoea. OMG, it was like a sudden case of food-poisoning. To think that I was even considering tomyam soup base before. :O I insisted on staying in town though, because Melissa and I had arranged to meet up for awhile but never managed to make it concrete.
Sat inside Takashimaya for a rest, since most of the shops were closing. So? We took pictures:

This is how Melissa reminds herself to do things - by scribbling on the inside of her wrist:
It's almost equivalent to tying a red string on your index finger. So old-school!! Haha.
I don't know why they had these garden swings along Orchard Road. (And if I remember correctly, I saw them outside Raffles Place MRT station as well.) A little Google search told me it's some NParks - Let's Make Singapore Our Garden campaign. It's not everyday you get to sit on a garden swing in the middle of Orchard Road, right? And that is why Mel and I decided to do it. But we didn't expect to wait that long just for the 2 Malay girls before us to get their butts off the swings for our turn. I timed them; we waited 40 minutes. -_- 40 minutes to swing our worries away in the heart of Orchard Road?:

(*P.S: Nude maxi-dress from Love & Bravery, ring from Forever 21, sandals from Charles & Keith.)
The elderly Malay couple behind me were waiting for their turn too, and when we left, they said, "Finally! We also waiting!" =.= We didn't even swing that longggg. =/
Bought Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion and gold eyeshadow from Sephora as well, on Friday:

The eyeshadow primer really works. It's awesome. My eyeshadow stayed for the WHOLE DAY, even after a nap. Wanted the gold-based one to make my gold eyeshadow even more intense, but I thought the original made more sense because then I can use it with any/all colours. =)
I'm not one to spend on makeup other than the necessities, but I guess the eyeshadow primer will go under the "Necessities" list now! Short of having somebody confiscate my cards, I guess I gotta remind myself to work hard, save hard! Still have so many things on my mental wishlist: room revamp, new red wallet (my current wallet has fallen apart completely), the iPhone 4S, etc. =/
Work can be a drag sometimes, and life can seem pointless MANY a time... No wonder they call it a rat race.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
