And my peepers are brown
I know I'm a real noob in coloured contacts. But recently I saw a deal coupon off Outlet.sg for Freshkon Mosaic lenses, so for the fun of it, I purchased them in brown. Wanted grey initially, but I didn't want to risk looking like a freak for fear of not looking good in that colour. They were half-price off anyway; perfect for me to pay cheaper for a first-time trial. Well, actually I'm not really a first-timer. The very first time I bought coloured contacts was online, through Xuesha. They made my eyes BURNNNNNNN like a motherfucker. It was the worst feeling, ever. I'm beginning to think if they were China goods. =S I think they're still lying around somewhere. Ought to dump them!!!
I know they've sort of banned online contact lenses sales now because of all the fakes going around, but the ones I got this time were licensed. Got my eyesight tested at the optician too. Both eyes are (only?) 150 degrees with 50 degrees of astigmatism on the left eye. So why do I still feel so blind all the time???? (T_T) I didn't really research the kind of designs they had as well etc, because I didn't have much choice in the first place, right? And secondly, there's just too many types (Mosaic, colour-fusion, bright eyes etc)... I can't really be bothered eh.
Because my eyes burnt so badly last time, I didn't take any photos since I was in a big hurry to remove them. Now it's a different story, baybeh. Tadaaa:

I would like to think I don't look Chinese at all in them, muahahaha. But don't expect me to be wearing them all the time though, since I absolutely hate the blurred vision I get from dry eyes and the fact that I don't even wear normal contacts everyday for the same reason. Well, I'd try. My colleague said I already have "brown-enough eyes" considering the fact that I am Asian, so. *shrugs*
And my hair! It's braided by Essensuals Bugis! =) Here's the back:

I would love to do it on my own, but I totally suck at coordinating my hands from the back. Thank God for Essensuals Bugis, to make my hair smooth and shiny, AND pretty too! I opted for a French braid because it's simple enough without looking flamboyant (I still had errands to run after that), and I didn't want the braid that starts at the nape of your neck because I didn't wanna risk looking like a 中国妹. .............. Seriously, urgh.
Call 6333 0039 for an appointment with Essensuals Bugis and ask for someone to style your hair any way you want it; I'm sure you'd be ultra-satisfied at what they can do for you. =)
Essensuals Bugis is located at 241-A Victoria Street, Bugis Village (right above Burger King). ♥
*P.S: I WON the dream dress contest organised by ClubCouture with the most votes!! =)

Holly won too. They're manufacturing 2 dresses. Here's hers!:

I can't wait to see how the physical product will turn out. And to actually be able to wear a dress and say, "I designed it." Haha. YAY. A will be so proud too, I'd bet. =) Thank you ALL for voting! xoxoxoxoxx
