iRoo

Taiwanese leading fashion brand iRoo, is in town!:

A mini tour around the store:

Love this outfit =P:

Check out the changing room area!:

If you ever go shopping with your girl-friends or your boyfriend, you don't have to worry about them standing around and waiting ages for you to try on a ton of clothes, because as you can see, there are comfy seats outside the changing rooms. Carpeted too. =P:

Yes, those are my feet. HAHA. On top of that, you get personal advice from their in-store stylist! You won't ever be stumped for a fashion choice at iRoo, ever. =) They have clothing ranging from casual to party to office-wear; you'd definitely be spoilt for choice. Shoes AND bags too!

If you think the iRoo store looks spacious from the photos, you're right... Because it is spacious. Apart from having its first international flagship store right here in Singapore, it's also their world's largest, covering 4200 square feet.

Actually, the reason I was at iRoo at Marina Bay Sands is because I'd be doing a fashion show for them this coming Friday. So I was there for a fitting! Our clothes for the upcoming show:

Mine!:

These are the outfits they picked out for me. I especially love the 3rd one. ^____^:

With Agri!:

Before the fashion show though, we had a walking ad campaign in the streets of Orchard Road yesterday!:

It was a lot of hard work for everyone. The 4-hour walk resulted in 3 blisters, 1 next to the ball of my right foot. =( So for all this hard work advertising, DO check out iRoo, located at Marina Bay Sands B2-101/101A at The Shoppes! Hehehe. =P Stay tuned for more! ;)

xoxo

Forever The King of Pop

Time flies. One year ago today, Michael Jackson left us. One year later today, the world is still in mourning. I am still in mourning. Who cares how many face changes he's had........ Inside, he's still the most beautiful soul ever, who makes the most beautiful music. Still gives me the goosebumps watching his videos... What I wouldn't give to hear him sing and see him dance again.

I wanted so badly to go to the tribute show organised by LAMC Productions... Ross invited me but I had a job in town and it totally clashed with both the afternoon gig and the night one. Quite the bummer, seriously... I know Edward Moss is not the real MJ but with all that dancing on stage and the lights, I can almost pretend for one second that it is truly MJ right in front of me. One of my life's biggest regrets, not being able to see him perform live... And now he's gone.

Today, I remember him.

You will forever be missed, Michael. All my love to you in Heaven. ♥♥♥

25 random question tag

I was bored, so I made a bubble tweet. They don't allow me to embed it, so here's the link: http://www.bubbletweet.com/channel/crystalavigne/8vr96

That inspired me to do a "vlog" of sorts. Sooo... I start with a "25 random question tag" video:

I know I look very uninterested and everything, but that's just how I am. That's my "neutral" face. Doesn't make me unfriendly! I know I always get that problem with my "neutral" face.... People think I am arrogant or stuck-up. But I'm born this way, what do you expect me to do?! Keep smiling 24/7 like a joker? Nuhhhh.... Doesn't seem too appealing to me.

Anyway, I'm supposed to tag people for this video so they can make one too. Here's my list!:

Jamie-Lee Frankland
Cordelia
Genevieve
Esther
Qiuting
Peggy Chang

Till the next entry.... x

Nokia Siemens Network event

Did a job at Muchos Restaurant and Bar along Clarke Quay, for Nokia Siemens Network. Our duty was to mingle. I hate mingling jobs because I hate being put in awkward social situations. Especially if the in-charge is one helluva bitch, so uptight she needs an orgasm. But okay, I needed the money so beggars can't be choosers. Was working with Sara, Venessa, Jasmine and 2 other Caucasian girls I don't know, Eunice and Elena or something or other. Jasmine didn't come on the second day so Jennifer Polce replaced her. Pictures from the 2-day event:

I hate the lighting from the tables. So damn unflattering.

All the food was Mexican, nachos and dips and colourful food on sticks. My burps tasted like capsicum for 2 days. I always watch Ugly Betty, and the kitchen and food and Betty's family are so heavily Mexican-influenced. It looked visually pleasing, but I can't say I like Mexican food too much now. We could only have non-alcoholic drinks but I sneaked a little vodka into my cranberry juice 'cos seriously, you do need a little alcohol to give you that buzz so you'd be braver in these social settings, right??

Check out the big flower in my hair:

If you're interested, the dress they provided me with is from Warehouse. $170+. The orange lace bodycon one that Venessa is wearing is from River Island, $99. Oh, I also got a free 500GB external hard disk drive! Alex won the bet for the World Cup match and got that as his prize, and he passed it on to me. 500GB!!! I can store LOTS of American TV series that I soooo love. ^_^ Thanks, Alex! And thanks for emailing me the pics too!

Goodnight everyone.
