Let's sum it all up
What my days have been made of since my last Chinese New Year post...:
Walks at the park with Gucci in his pram...:

Sometimes on foot, and then he refuses to budge...:

After his shower, where I muzzle him so I can blow-dry his coat. Yes, he's so grouchy, he has to be muzzled. His usual habit of rubbing his face on the floor with his ass up in the air is normal, but not when he stays in that position and looks up at me, I wonder why!:

There were the follow-up vet visits too... The vet gave me these hormone injections which are supposed to slow down Gucci's kidney failure. I have to inject it into him everyday, but I only bought it to try since a month's worth of that already costs $398. If there's improvement, then I'd get some more.... But only when I can afford it, because it's $400 a month after-all.
In the cab home, where he lies in my lap and gazes out the window, sometimes dozing off:

Jesslyn came to buy a dress from me and visited Gucci:

Cookie terrorized her. I'd think Gucci would too, if he weren't already old and mellow. But he looks soooooooo adorable in the above pic. Went to buy dinner with Jesslyn and walked past the Malay barber. He rescued a little bird from the jaws of that fat cat at the bubble tea shop:

=( There's a puncture wound in its side. I brought it to show my mum but it took all my self-control not to bring it home. I don't want to blame myself if that little bird doesn't pull through under my care, and if it does, I don't know if I'd be strong enough to let it go. You know me, always getting attached to animals. -_- Anyway I hope that Malay barber found someone good to care for it... and I hope it's already flying by now!
Gucci's belly band finally came from eBay. Cost me $14, inclusive of shipping:

Now he can walk around the house freely without me having to constantly keep an eye out for him marking territory. The only downside is that he rubs his face against almost everything he sees and starts humping. =.= My leg included, that's why I had to hop on the couch and he can't get up like that:

He's stable for now, so I am not as worried about leaving him here to spend time with MM in Sydney. However I do still expect updates from my mum while I am over there.
As for Cookie, he is the same old crazy furball. His favourite thing to do while in the lift:

Yes, it's a must to look out there. I've tried blocking him before, he went crazy.
Had a steamboat dinner at Jerraine's for Chinese New Year, along with the Majolica Majorca girls:

Sorry for the hastily taken pictures; I arrived after a long day at work and then lost my way, and to top it all off, that was my only meal of the day so I was desperate to tuck in!
We had lou hei at the end. Beatrice lou-ed with such gusto, the stuff flew all over the table and the floor, much to Karmel's delight, 'cos she went to lap it up! And sesame seed flew into my hair. -_____-
Jerraine's baby, Karmel!:

A picture of me and Karmel, with Corde's Polaroid:

Jerraine's mum saw my Polaroid as we laid it out on the table to let the images show, and she said I looked like Kelly Chen. ROFL. Nobody's ever said that before. The steamboat was yummy, the gossip was endless. Everyone wanted to talk at once - it was so noisy and difficult to complete a sentence before being cut off again by someone else! Group pics:

Photo credit to Nadia. Thanks Jer, for the steamboat. We'd do it again sometime! =) You are da best.
Job interview in Holland Village, and then dinner with Cheryl at Breko:

Yeah, I said "job interview". Got that right. But everything has to be KIV until I'm back from Sydney 'cos I can't commit to anything for now!
Roving job in town for RamenPlay over the last 2 Saturdays - the half-naked dudes totally stole the limelight!:

So which guy is your pick? Hahaha:

Polaroid in the streets of Orchard Road!:

Don't know why I've been feeling so extremely tired these past few days. I don't even have the energy to read my book before bed, a bedtime ritual I gave myself since I was a kid. And my book is awesome too! I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb. He's amazing, please go check him out. And I digress.
So. I go out in the hot sun and come home with a headache at night before bed. I hate going out because of the sun. I HATE the sun!!! I really hate it. And Cookie takes so long to shit in the damn grass, I stand out with him in the field and practically wilt. The temperature just keeps rising, doesn't it?! So like I said, it's no joke when they say the ozone layer is depleting. I actually do care about the environment in the ways I can. For one, I love recycling - it gives me some form of satisfaction knowing that the magazines I throw away can become something else. And no, I don't want to join Miss Earth. Enough of pageants, I learned my lesson last September.
Tata for now.

Chinese New Year 2010
If I were still in primary school, I'd title this post: "How I spent my Chinese New Year". 'Cos that's just what it is anyway. I don't really like Chinese New Year for many reasons. The crowded houses, the closed shops and inconvenience, the formalities, you name it. It's just not a routine I fancy, you know? Waking up early, doing makeup and stepping out only to let the hot sun ruin it. Red packets are beginning to fail in making up for all of that. Anyway, I will let the pictures do the talking! Dragon dance by the RC at the carpark downstairs:

With Claudia at my grandma's place:

Off to find something to eat - nothing was open so I only got Slurpee:

With Wenqing and family and friends; Wenqing brought Bambi!! I missed Bambi!:

Wenqing's niece, baby Charlotte - super cute!!:

I heard from my sister that the weather was 35 degrees or something. Effin' hot, it's not even funny. Okay, that's my CNY for ya. Routine!! Laters.
