Of Avril, parties and dogs

I'm hungry. And this is random - my mum cooked chicken curry the other day:

Pile on the potatoes, yeah! Simple yet satisfying. Don't you just love home-cooked meals? Too bad she doesn't cook that often anymore. I don't mind cooking if only she'd teach me! Then I can cook the same stuff even when she has no time! Broccoli with carrots and meat, potato and celery soup, Sichuan vegetables......... Yummy, I'm drooling.

I forgot to mention that I bought Abbey Dawn hoodies from eBay again. And I paid more than $100 for 2 hoodies this time round. I waited for so long, longer than I did for the previous one. And I got worried when they didn't arrive because there was no insurance and I was dreading it got lost in the mail just like the VS bikini that Zoe sent me (yes, that was lost in the mail - my favourite white bikini with the gold stars is gone, isn't that awesome? Remind me never to join sprees again?). But after a painstakingly long wait of close to a month, my hoodies came!:

Thank you Jesus! And needless to say, I loved my loot!!!!!!:

The zipper is cute!:

Can't show it to you myself but I absolutely love the graffiti print in the back:

On Avril:

This hoodie has got these cute printed earphones thing going on, haha!:

My pink printed iPod and the proclamation of how much I love music!:

On Avril!:

She has new stock coming in and this is one of them:

All I can say is, it looks refreshing on her but I wouldn't wear that! Yellow (my skin!) against yellow (the shirt)? Don't think so. The denim skirt is also from her label. Looks cool. She still has that pink hair, doesn't she? Seems that it only looks good against blonde though. =/ And this is just how pink it is:

Funky, I like! Almost as much as I love her eye makeup, the blacker the better!:

I wonder what kind of eyeliner can achieve that look? Hmmm. She's awesomeness! BUT some people don't think so. Like for example, this random white chick who left a comment on Avril's MySpace page quite some time back. I saved it 'cos I thought she was a little too affected...? She said:

A few years back i used to obsess over you.
I was going though a hard time and YOUR music helped me.
But now i am ashamed to have you in my itunes, not because ive changed. But because you are a complete sell out, you disgust me. how can anyone take themselves so seriously, think about who you have become, when you first came out you were something different, individual. and you didnt care what peope thought.
You taught people to be themselves.
I bet you arent even reading this comment, obviously you pay someone to do that for you.
But i didnt write this comment just to judge you, just tell me this? you changed everything for fame, you tryed so hard to get what you wanted, even though your rich and famous, are you any happier than you were before? is fame really worth it?

........... Wow. That girl needs to take a chill pill!

Enough rant about Avril! I met up with Maggie for dinner the other day, with her mum! And her adorable new puppy, Happy!:

He's 10 months old. So cute! Like a little lamb with that little broccoli head of hair. HAHA! "Maggie had a little lamb..." =.= Pet Safari has been bringing in a lot of this breed man.

Attended KM8's closing party on the 28th. I didn't even know KM8 was closing down until Abby told me. And coincidentally, Rachel was going down for Vishnu's birthday. And TK wanted to bring Bruno and Bear to their favourite hangout place for the last time, so I tagged along with Gucci. The clubbing dogs (hahaha, I keep thinking that's funny)!:

Gucci doesn't like beer, but his owner does!:

Rachel was very, very late for the party. And Vishnu was very, very happy to see her that he wrestled her to the floor!:

Those 2 are officially crazy! But then again, like we didn't know. =P

Vishnu Armstrong!:

Me and my bestie:

Me and my baby boy!:

Clubbing crowd:

Clubbing dogs (again! Hahaha!):

Nice spectacles, Lubna! =P:

Rachel was getting hot in there...:

Sneaky shots...:

Impromptu high-fashion shoot for Vishnu, anywhere!:

With the birthday boy:

Actually Gucci annoyed me a lot when we arrived because he wouldn't stop humping Bruno. Someone's Jack Russell wandered to us by the beach and tried to pick a fight with Gucci, and then that same Jack Russell strayed from his owner and ended up at the deck where we stayed put at. It was quite a far walk from there to the beach where we saw him earlier, so we figured he must be lost. Anyway he started humping one of the Rottie's head and everyone was laughing. TK pulled the rascal away by his collar and he tried to bite. Really naughty! Gucci tried humping one of them too, and I saw a couple of white dudes laughing with their phone cameras at the ready, waiting for him to do it again. I walked over and dragged Gucci away, telling them sarcastically, "Sorry, no more show!" They looked middle-aged but obviously were behaving like 10-year-olds. _|_

All that humping clubbing must have tired Gucci out (we stayed for around 4 hours) because he slept in the car:

Don't know why but I just like to watch him sleep. He looks so cute and endearingly vulnerable at the same time. I love him so much!!!! <3

D invited me to the alldressedup fashion show at Marina Bay's floating platform area yesterday. But before I went for that, I popped by Joyce's house to visit Pudding and her puppies! Yup, she's given birth! I missed it because it was 5am in the morning when she started crying in pain. Over the span of 2 hours, she managed to push out 5 adorable pure-bred Schnauzers, all of which Joyce managed to save. I visited them in the late afternoon. Was advised not to take photos (they're superstitious) but here's a video!:

Aren't they adorable??? You can hear little squeaks coming from them too at 0:43. They're merely one day old, literally. Pudding is a first-time mother! =) And this is the father, Scooby!:

The puppies are 3 females and 2 males. Joyce's sister is gonna keep one, her cousin is gonna keep one and the remaining 3 will be sold after the owner-to-be passes Joyce's stringent interviews. Haha. Or then again, Joyce might keep them all for herself.

Anyway, the alldressedup show was fantastic. The runway models made me feel fat though. My thighs might be the lower part of a lamp-post, but theirs are the neck of it. Super-skinny! I almost anticipated a huge gust of wind to come and blow them off the runway. D looked stunning as a host for the show, I'm grateful she invited me. =) Got an exquisite fan to take home!:

Aaaaaaand also (be prepared for a little gross factor) a huge blister!:

Thanks to those favourite 4-inch Zara heels of mine. And guys think wearing heels are easy! No way. I walked quite a long way trying to find the venue (yeah, I suck at directions), hence the blister. I have an ugly scab now, just hope it'd fade off in time to come.

Felt bad for not staying but really, it was an open-air venue and gawd, the weather was so torturously humid that I left straight away after the show. Hopped into a cab and went home because I couldn't walk to the train station with my blister giving me such pain. Next time, remind me to apply Vaseline or something!

Woke up early this morning to visit my grandpa at the temple. I've been missing him a lot these days, I don't know why. Sometimes it still never fails to hit me in my face, the fact that I just won't see him again no matter how much I wish to. I hope he's blissfully happy and smiling that kind smile of his, wherever he might be now.

Met up with Elle for dinner at PastaMania in the evening and then popped by Toys 'R' Us and bought a Baby Pooh bear soft toy for Rachel 'cos she was having relationship problems. Caught a bus to her house to hang out for a bit with her and her dogs. We made Rusty sing! You HAVE to watch this, I find it sooo funny!:

HAHAHAHA, awww Rusty! The funny part is actually the image of him making an "O" with his mouth and wanting to sing and yet not sing. Actually we knew he would do this, it's just every time I want to make him do it, I didn't have my camera with me. He would have kept it up if Rachel's grandmother hadn't spoiled it by yelling at him to stop. She said the Indians believe that someone is gonna die or something when a dog makes that kinda noise. =.= For your information, Rusty does this to the Rugrats theme song too, if you know how that goes! LoL.

Moi, sans makeup (omg Crystal, you're so ugly! Ummm... Yeah, whatever?):

Before I go, random pics of Cookie:

He's getting bigger everyday!!!! Heavier and naughtier too. -__- Throw him a bottle to chew and this is what happens to it:

Yes, imagine that as my hand. I can't count how many bruises and cuts he's given me by now. Anyway I bruise easily, which is quite a worry too. I was so paranoid I even made my mum check if I had bruises down my spine, a sure sign of leukemia. =X I know, touch-wood. But I'd go to the doc soon all the same... If it's not too costly. We'll see.

Last but not least, I'm going for another holiday! Yuppers, off to Perth from 5th-13th May. =) Alone, again. But meeting friends there, of course. It's hard to find people to travel with you! It's either a time thing or a money thing. Anyway Rachel would most probably be there when I'm there, so we could meet and go shopping at Supre and Valley Girl and what-not. That's what she says anyway. And sometimes what she says cannot be taken into account until maybe when it's already happened. Hur-hur. It's gonna be a tight budget for me though... All just because I'm almost broke. =( Jetstar is having really cheap flights in May (I paid $219.05 for mine, including airport tax and all), that's why I didn't mind much. Anyway I really don't know if the shopping is gonna be seasonal because I wouldn't wanna buy clothes that I cannot even wear back in Singapore just 'cos it's so hot. What I do know though, is that I'm gonna go sky-diving and rock wall-climbing and I'm gonna pat wild dolphins up at Monkey Mia as well as hug a koala at the Cohunu Wildlife Park! :D I'm really excited, I just hope I won't freeze my ass off when the time comes during end-autumn! I can't stand the cold, not even a little bit. So yeah, a little bit is already a lot for me. Either way, I'd make it lotsa fun I hope... Even though people are saying, "Why Perth? It's so boring!", I still wanna go only just because I've never been there. So there. Excitement! So yeah, laters! X)
